Nature has just announced a call for papers for a new online open access journal titled Scientific Reports. This journal will cover a broad subject base in the natural sciences - including articles in biology, chemistry, physics and earth sciences. The journal will charge an article processing fee, with the author retaining copyright, and articles will be freely available to everyone. It will be interesting to see the usage statistics once it has been launched.
